Kristin Fisher is joining CNN in 2021. The reporter will serve as the Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent, she is in charge of covering all things including NASA's new Space Force to commercial space business and the emergence of space tourism. Kristin was born into the sector of space, as the granddaughter and daughter of NASA astronauts. In the past five years, she has been covering space policy under the Biden and Trump Administrations in FOX News. Also, she covered the presidential election in 2020 and efforts by two administrations to combat the coronavirus. Additionally, she was a frequent traveler with President Trump as well as Vice President Trump frequently. The trip included a shady trip to Afghanistan. Kristin worked her way through the newsrooms of local markets like Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Washington, D.C. for over a decade before being hired by the CBS network. Kristin was the recipient of one Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. for her work as a CBS station's reporter who was a one-man band. With her experience in front of the camera Kristin established Field Mouse Films in 2014, which was a specialist in documentary style films for clients of corporate nature, including Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin received her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Boston University. She lives with her husband at Washington, D.C., and has a three-year old daughter.
